A couple of suggestionscomments have been made from agents to Redline relating to the assembly of the workbenches...
"Front Rails"...
- Whenever a "PA20" or "PA21" insert is used, Redline provides a "Front Rail". There has been some confusion as to what this rail is for, and how it is installed. The purpose of this rail is to prevent the doors from closing too far inwards on the cabinet. It is basically a 'modified' fixed shelf. When installing the "Front Rail" on a "PA20" insert, it is simply positioned and screwed into the countertop. On a "PA21" the "Front Rail" comes with cam holes and then fastened to the verticals, much the same way that a fixed shelf would be in our 'Standard' Garage Line.
- In addition, there was a scenario where a cart had a "PA20" insert, and then right next to it a 4-drawer insert. The color on the cart was "Platinum" powder. Initially our thoughts were to "powder coat" the "Front Rails", (which we have been doing). But in this scenario, (due to the lighter powder color), the top reveal above the "PA20" w/ the "Front Rail" didn't match well with the top reveal of the 4-drawer insert, which doesn't come with a "Front Rail". To rectify this in the future, the "Front Rail" will now be made out of Grey melamine with Black edgebanding.
Adjustable Shelves"...
- Due to the "Back" on the "Custom Island Cabinets", the adjustable shelves are approximately 3/4-inch shallower than the ones used in our "Standard" Garage cabinets. This is really not an issue until you receive your order for the "Cart", mixed in with "Standard" Garage cabinet components. The scenario that happened with one of our agents, is they separated all of the adjustable shelving off to the side, while they completed the install/assembly of the cart and the "Standard" cabinets. When they finished the install they began inserting the adjustable shelving, (not realizing there was shallower shelving for the carts). Long story short, when they began inserting the adjustable shelving for the cart, they wouldn't fit. The reason they wouldn't fit is they had unknowingly inserted the 'cart' shelves along the way in 'standard' cabinets. So they had to go back through the 'standard' cabinets and locate the adjustable shelves for the cart.The labels on the adjustable shelving for the carts is different than those for the 'Standard' cabinets, but this is still probably an easy mistake to make.
