Details – The Difference Maker…

Last night I was looking through the orders that came in to us and noticed something special.

Store With Style in Mentor Ohio is a family business owned by Tony and Kathy Wallace. Tony does the design work and meets with customers, Kathy spends her time marketing and running the office. Their two boys are very talented cabinet guys who do the installs. Like every small business everybody is wearing several hats. They sell several products including RedLine Closets and Garagegear. They also sell kitchens and awnings. They have a really nice mix of products. This project uses RedLine Closet Systems.

The thing that struck me was the detail that Tony puts into his drawings. Just take a look for yourself. Below is the RDS drawing.

Notice the fire place…. that was all build in RDS by Tony. The white cabinets on the left were put in when the builder built the house. Notice the angled walls. All of this effort to give the customer a WOW.

What do you think the close rate is going to be on a job like this when so much effort has been put into the drawing?

If they were competing for this job, who do you think is going to win the heart of the client?

Even if it costs more, the home owner knows exactly what they are getting. Plus the detail in the drawing makes them feel comfortable because they know they are dealing with professionals.

Below is a close up of the proposed cabinets.

The pictures below were taken while working with the customer. The cabinets they are proposing go on the wall the television is on.

Notice the details of the fire place in the picture compared to the RDS drawing.

Nice Job Wallace’s ! I look forward to seeing the finished product pictures.

Redline Closet Systems is much more than just closets as you can see. You can build nearly anything with this system including media centers (as the Wallace’s did here), home offices, bookcase’s, bar’s, even kitchens (we are running a small kitchen through the shop now).

Are You Leaving Money on the Table! If you are selling ‘just’ garage cabinets think about the business you could get from the customers you already have, if you were to be able to build cabinets for the rest of the house.

Just a thought...Let me know what you think!

Featured Garages of March 2013

It’s been a while since we’ve featured a garage here on the agent blog. To make up for it we’re going to show you some shots of two great looking garages in this post. Both of the systems you are about to see were designed and installed by RedLine Garagegear agents just like you.

This first job was installed by Fred Dworsky of Total Garage USA down in Florida. This system uses a nice mix of tall, upper, and base cabinets with varying depths. This is an awesome storage area and the big flat screen television is a nice added touch as well.

The next job comes from Tony and Kathy Wallace of Store with Style in Mentor, Ohio. They designed a system to house an 1,100 pound gun safe and also an ammunition cabinet. Check out the blog post for this job we wrote and posted on the RedLine website.

We strongly encourage you to be taking high quality pictures of your work. There are so many application for these images (i.e. your website, a brochure, mailers, posting them on Facebook, etc.). Be sure to send us your images. We will always post the best image from the job to the gallery on the RedLine Garagegear site and also to one of our boards on Pinterest. If you have complete before and after photos or you did a job with some custom/unique components, we can do a full blog post and maybe even a press release. All we need from you to do this are great images and a little background information or a story.

Many thanks to Fred, Tony, and Kathy for sharing their work with all of us.
